CHANGZHOU: Qatar midfielder Ahmad Moein yesterday said his team has planned an all-out attack in their last group stage match against hosts China at the AFC U-23 Asian Cup.

Unbeaten Qatar has posted wins against Uzbekistan and Oman and now look to secure a quarter-finals berth at the 16-team continental championship.

"We are going to enter the match with the aim of winning it so that we get the maximum points," Moein told reporters yesterday ahead of the clash today. "We want to win and top Group A," he added.

"We know that the game against the Chinese will be very difficult. They have a strong side although they lost to Uzbekistan on Friday. They are not a weak side by any means," Moein added.

"We will look to playing our best game. We have the advantage going into this match because our confidence is high after getting two wins. We have prepared with great effort ," Moein said.

"We must enter the game with all seriousness and we can do it. Hopefully, luck will be on our side as we look for the win," Moein said.

Qatar finished fourth at the same event held in 2016 in Doha.
