Jordan- Cold, cloudy, rainy weather forecast until Tuesday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 14 (Petra)-- A drop temperatures is expected on Sunday, becoming around their seasonal average. Therefore, relatively cold and partly cloudy to cloudy conditions will prevail in the western regions with scattered showers at times in the northern parts of the country extending to the central areas.

According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), similar weather conditions will remain on Monday with fog formation over high lands and parts of the eastern regions, while winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate to brisk at times.

Relatively cold weather will continue on Tuesday with low clouds and southwesterly light winds with foggy conditions in the early morning hours extending at night over the hilly areas and eastern parts of the Kingdom, reducing horizontal visibility, the JMD said.

Temperatures in Amman and the northern areas for today will range between a high of 13 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 and 8 respectively, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 21 degrees dropping down to 12 degrees at night.
