Egypt witness 123.5 percent increase in tourism revenues

(MENAFN) One government official declared tourism revenues in Egypt last year to have leaped 123.5% year-on-year to $7.6 billion.

The official further revealed Egypt visitors throughout 2017 to have gone up to 54% to 8.3 million.

Even though the Egyptian tourism sector is a key source of foreign currency, it remains below the 14.7 million of 2010 Egypt visitors as a result of a 2011 revolution.
