UAE Ambassador meets with Italian Senate Defence Committee Chair

ROME, 13th January, 2018 (WAM) -- Saqr Nasser Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador to Italy, has received Nicola Latorre, Chairperson of the Italian Senate Defence Committee.
During the meeting, Al Raisi highlighted the strong relations and strategic ties between the UAE and Italy, while Latorre praised the UAE's role in promoting international peace and security, especially in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
Latorre reiterated his belief in the importance of the role the UAE plays in the region because of its clear vision and policy of progress and modernisation.
