Doha: Lebanese singing sensation Ramy Ayach will perform in Qatar as part of the Shop Qatar 2018. The Arabic singer, who is very popular in the region, will enthral the music lovers of Qatar on Thursday, February 8 at the Festival city. Ayach will be performing as part of the closing ceremony of the Shop Qatar 2018 at the Doha Festival City.
Ayach is a winner of the prestigious Pan-Arab awards and is behind some of the most recognizable Arab hits of the modern era such as 'Fi Makan', "Mabrouk", "Albi Mal", "Khalini Ma3ak", "El Nas El Ray2a", and "Majnoun". Also, an actor, his most recent role was in the hit drama series "Amir El Leil. He has millions of followers in the region and commands immense respect among music lovers with his epic albums like "Ya Msahar 3eni" and "Habaytak Ana".
Married to Lebanese fashion designer Dalida Said, Ayach also runs an NGO entirely dedicated to children education and empowerment.
The final raffle draw of Shop Qatar 2018 will also take place during the closing ceremony.
Visitors and residents still have a chance to win by shopping or dining at any of the festival's 13 Mall partners. For every QR 200 spent at any of the participating retailers or restaurants, shoppers can enter one of the festival's three remaining raffle draws, with two cars and 13 cash prizes ranging from QR10,000 to QR100,000 to be won each week.
The upcoming draws will be held at 8:30 pm on Thursday, January 18 & 25 at Tawar Mall and Dar Al Salam Mall respectively. The final draw will take place at the closing ceremony in Doha Festival City on Thursday, February 8.
The Festival organisers announced that Shop Qatar 2018 will offer a rich array of live performances by singing sensations and unlimited family-friendly entertainment.
Yesterday Lebanese singers Yara and Joseph Attieh performed at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
Artists including India's Sonu Nigam and international band the Chainsmokers will be taking to the stage in the coming weeks.
Sonu Nigam will be performing as part of the Bollywood week on January 19, 7 pm at Doha Exhibition & Convention Center. The week will also see a fashion show by South East Asian designers.
The Chainsmokers will perform during the international week of the Shop Qatar at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre on January 25, 9 pm.
