ISESCO outraged over Trump's racist remarks


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, Jan 12 (KUNA) -- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned as racist the remarks made yesterday by US President Donald Trump on immigrants to his country.

"Such offensive and racist remarks from head of state, mainly made up of immigrants, express a moral degeneration that runs counter to the provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)," the ISESCO said in a statement on Friday.

"These remarks offended whole nations and could only foment sentiments of racism and hate among various peoples of the world," it added.

During his meeting with Congress members at the White House on Thursday, Trump ridiculed migrants from El Salvador, Haiti and Africa, saying, "Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here.
