Qatar- Special desk to address crimes against children


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Sindh province Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali, keeping in view the horrific incident in Kasur city of Punjab province, has ordered setting up a separate desk at the CM House Complaint Cell to address complaints of crimes against children, particularly what he termed 'sexual terrorism against children.
He said the society was degenerating, and the Islamic values and the values of humanity such as love and care for children and respect for elders were fading away, which was quite painful.
'The Kasur incident is a big question mark on the face of our society.
The chief minister ordered setting up a separate desk in the Complaint Cell of the CM House where complaints of crimes against children would be looked into and addressed. The phone number of the cell are 021-99202080-1, 99207394 and 99207568.
He directed the complaint cell duty officer(s) to forward such complaints to the relevant police station as well as to him on his WhatsApp number so that prompt, co-ordinated and strict action could be taken.
'I have given clear instructions to the police to deal with such cases as terrorism cases, he said.
Through the chief secretary, Shah also directed the education department to educate children against sexual assaults and such other crimes.
'I believe it is sexual terrorism against children and such criminals would be booked
accordingly.
