King Faisal International Prize winners announced

Riyadh, Rabi'II 23, 1439, January 10, 2018, SPA -- The General Secretariat of King Faisal International Prize here today announced the winners of this year's King Faisal International Prize in its five branches.
In a statement, the General Secretariat of King Faisal International Award said that in the field of Service of Islam, this year's award went to Professor Dr. Irwandi Jaswir (Indonesian nationality), the Islamic Studies award went to Professor Bashar Awwad, Jordanian nationality, the Arabic Language and Literature award went to Professor Shokri Al-Mabkhout, Tunisian nationality, the Medicine award went to Professor James Allison, US citizen, and the Science award went to Professor Sir John Ball, a British national.
