Afghanistan- Teenage girl hangs herself to death in Faryab
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A 17-year-old girl has allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in Qaisar district of northern Faryab province, an official said on Thursday.
Rahmatullah Qaisari, the district administrative chief, identified the slain girl as Fatima who hanged herself from her home's ceiling using a rope in Bora area of the district late on Wednesday.
The motive behind the suicide could not be ascertained, but detective organs said her father had slapped her that prompted the girl to commit suicide.
About 20 days ago, a similar case happened in Faryab.
