Pakistan- PCB announces team for T20 series against New Zealand


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced 15-member team for the three-match T20 series against New Zealand.

Chief Selector Inzamamul Haq while announcing the team on Wednesday said opener Ahmed Shahzad and Muhammad Nawaz have returned to the team, while Umar Amin and Aamir Yameen have also been given a chance. He said Imad Wasim, Usman Shinwari and Sohaib Maqsoon have not been included due to injuries.

The other players include Sarfaraz Ahmed (captain), Mohammad Hafeez, Fakhar Zaman, Shoaib Malik, Babar Azam, Haris Sohail, Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Muhammad Aamir, Hasan Ali and Romman Raees.

The first match of the T20 series will be played on 22 January.

New Zealand are currently leading the five-match ODI series 2-1. The next ODI will be played on Saturday.
