Dhofar to witness new tourism projects
(MENAFN) Oman has launched several projects in the Governorate of Dhofar at the tourism destination "HawanaSalalah," marking the 10th Anniversary of Muriya Tourism Development Company.
The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al-Busaidi, Minister of State, Governor of Dhofar, along with the presence of Ahmed bin Nassir al-Meherzi, Minister of Tourism, ministers and senior officials.
It is planned that the HawanaSalalah project in the Governorate of Dhofar will contain seven hotels, including SalalahRotana Resort, with capacity of 422 rooms, Al Fanar Hotel with 400 rooms, Juweira Boutique Hotel with 87 rooms, and Souli Camp with 15 chalets by the sea built by natural components.
Consequently, the total of hotel rooms within HawanaSalalah project reached about 900 rooms.
