Doha: Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani chaired yesterday the Cabinet's regular weekly meeting at its Emiri Diwan premises. After the meeting, Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet AffairsH E Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr Al Mohannadi said the Cabinet reviewed topics on the agenda.
The Cabinet approved the renewal of the membership of the Board of Directors of Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) as of March 8, 2018, appointing a member in the Board and determining the remuneration of Board members.
The Cabinet reviewed the following topics and took the appropriate decisions: 1. Draft law organising scholarships.
2. Letter of the Minister of Development Planning and Statistics on the visuals of each of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs on the achievement of the recommendations made regarding population growth.
3. Memo of the Minister of Public Health on the results of the visit to the Sultanate of Oman in November 2017.
4. Letter of the National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons on the 39th report of the work of the Committee from December 1 to 9, 2017.
