(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) yesterday hosted Members of the Government leadership programme at a meeting held at the Kahramaa Awareness Park.
The gathering was held to introduce the members to the corporation's successful experience in developing such areas as leadership, creativeness and innovation. While speaking at the meeting, Kahramaa President and Senior Engineer Issa bin Hilal al-Kuwari recalled the challenges the organisation had to overcome over the years for achieving good results in its operations.
Explaining the qualities required for becoming a good and successful leader, al-Kuwari highlighted the roles innovation and creativity were playing in shaping the fortunes of an individual and how they together influenced his overall performance.
'We should adopt and support all initiatives to make a person more creative, said al-Kuwari. On their visit, the members reviewed various achievements of Kahramaa and studied their future strategies and and plans.
