Tunnel in Abu Dhabi closes for 4 days starting today
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) If you are driving into Abu Dhabi, there's something that you need to be wary about.
The Sheikh Zayed Tunnel will close for four days towards the direction of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Police has notified. Therefore, the traffic will be routed towards the Sea Palace Tunnel.
The closure of the tunnel will start fromWednesday(January 10) toSaturday(January 13) from12am to 5.30am.On Friday, the closure will continue until11.30am, says the Abu Dhabi Police on its Twitter page.The tunnel is being closed due to upkeep and upgrading work.
Motorists taking this route must drive with caution.Still better to take an alternative road.
