U.S Vice President to visit Middle East

(MENAFN) Mike Pence, U.S Vice President, will be visiting the Middle East in January, according to a statement released by his office.

This visit will involve Jordan, Egypt and Israel, but he will not be visiting Palestine.

It will begin between January 19th until 23rd, in which he will "address the shared need to combat terrorism and assist persecuted religious minorities", the statement said.

Although this visit came after Trump's Jerusalem decision that raged Arabs and took them to the streets, calling to cut relations with U.S until Trump withdraw his decision, Pence is a strong backer for this decision since he will visit the Western Wall in Jerusalem and give a speech at the Israeli parliament, the statement said.
