Kuwait appoint Plane dedicated to fly injured Omani fans home
(MENAFN) A private plane was allocated by Kuwait to fly injured Omani fans home along with their families and relatives after they complete their medical treatment.
The allocated flight was announced following directives from Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al-Mubarak who visited the injured fans under the treatment at the hospital, accompanied by Deputy Premier, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Khaleeji 23 Organizing Committee Chairman Anas Al-Saleh.
Following Oman's Gulf Cup win over the UAE, a glass barrier at the Shaikh Jaber International Stadium broke during the celebrations and 47 supporters were injured.
