(MENAFN) South Korean Samsung Electronics Co. confirmed Wednesday its smart TV security solution to have received a globally recognized certification for securing computers.
According to the tech giant, the Common Criteria certification has been granted to its smart TV for the third year in a row.
Moreover, the giant declared its Knox's technology functions to identify and eliminate threatening applications that could steal vital data.
Samsung's Visual Display Business head Han Jong-hee stated "at Samsung, security is our top priority in developing Smart TV technology, we are committed to providing one of the most reliable security solutions on the market for our Smart TV users."
