Egypt's Industrial sector to grow 21 percent by 2020


(MENAFN) The Egyptian Minister of Industry, Tarek Qabil stated on Monday, that Egypt goals to become among the 30 strongest economies in the world by 2030, according to the Egyptian Amwal Al Ghad news website.

Qabil noted in a speech he delivered during the opening of a number of projects in Cairo, that the government targets 8% development in the industrial sector in 2018, and a 21% growth by 2020.

Qabil launched an industrial investment map, earlier in October, since Egypt is following a 2020 industrial development strategy.

The map will involve information about accessible opportunities in the industrial sector.
