Kuwait, Rabi'II 21, 1439, Jan 8, 2018, SPA -- The 11th periodic meeting of the Speakers of Shura, Representatives, National and Nation Councils in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States is concluded here today in presence of Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh.
In a final communique issued today, the participants stressed the importance of localization of jobs and investment of the GCC human resources, calling upon the Kuwaiti National Assembly to implement relevant activities and events in coordination with the GCC Secretariat General.
They also hailed a speech delivered by Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah during the opening session, affirming that his speech stressed the importance of cooperation and consultation at all levels.
The speakers also issued a number of resolutions regarding the meeting's agenda.
The meeting dealt with issues pertaining to enhance relations with the parliamentary unions and parliaments abroad.
