Qatar Bowling Federation announces prize money for upcoming Emir Cup

Doha: Qatar Bowling Federation has announced the prize money for the 17th edition of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's Cup, which will be held at Qatar Bowling Center from February 27 to March 5.
The Federation announced $61,400 prize money for the winners from the first to the 32nd. The first winner will receive $10,000, while winner of the second place will receive $6,000, and the third and fourth will recieve $3,500. Winners from the 5th to 8th will receive $2,400, from the 9th to the 16th will get $1,600, and from 17th to 32nd will get $1,000.
Qatar's Jassim Mohammed Al Muraikhi won the Emir Cup 2017 against Francois Louw of South Africa in the title match. Al Muraikhi took a slim two-pin lead after the first game, 258 to 256. He followed with a 247-217 win to capture the title and the $10,000 top prize, 505-473.
