Pakistan- District govt Peshawar seals 12 more illegal stone crushing plants
(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: District Government Peshawar on Monday sealed 12 more illegal stone crushing plants in different areas of the district in light of orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
A statement issued by spokesperson Deputy Commissioner said that a team comprising officials from different departments raided the plants in Azakhel and Garhi Chandan and sealed 12 of them for having no license.
The district government earlier had also sealed plants in Musazai, Bahadur Killay and Urmar areas. District government asked the plants to get a license from the Environmental Protection Agency and registered themselves with relevant department.
