Kuwaiti, Saudi interior ministers address common concerns


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah held talks on Sunday with his Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, discussing issues of mutual interest.

In his meeting with the visiting Saudi minister, Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah extoled his country's exceptional ties with its Gulf neighbor, citing the two nations' common desire to take relations to new levels, read a statement by the Kuwaiti interior ministry.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti minister hailed his Saudi peer's visit as affirmation of the impenetrable bond that both countries share.

Meanwhile, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud described the talks as productive, saying that both officials see eye to eye on a number of regional and international issues.
