Virgin Mobile UAE signs partnership with Careem

(MENAFN) Virgin Mobile UAE has declared its partnership with transportation app Careem, aiming for customers to obtain their SIM cards at their doors in ideally less than half an hour.

Careem in the UAE is to provide an option of any one of its 5,000 drivers to transport the SIMs and hand it out to customers within sixty minutes, according to the company.

Virgin Mobile UAE managing director Karim Benkirane stated "in today's on-demand society, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our service, and we will continue to streamline our delivery service with Careem with the goal to eventually be able to deliver a SIM card faster than getting a pizza delivered."

He further added "Careem have proven to be a strong partner, capable of providing excellent logistical support, driver distribution and technical integration, allowing us to fulfil our promise of delivery with one hour."
