Imran Khan married again, say reports


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Imran Khan started the New Year with his third marriage on January 1, tying the knot with Bushra Maneka, to whom he used to visit for spiritual guidance.
Khan, 66, declined to respond to queries about this marriage from journalists at a public gathering in Chakwal yesterday.
The nikah (marriage) ceremony was conducted by a member of Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee, Mufti Mohamed Saeed, who also did not give answer to the question.
PTI leaders Muhammad Sarwar, Naeemul Haq, and Mahmoodul Rashid did not give a clear answer to the question either.
However, the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have congratulated Khan on his third marriage.
Bushra Maneka's son Mohamed Musa Maneka, while confirming that his mother and his father Farid Maneka have separated, said he had spoken with her and that there was no such development.
Farid Maneka has also confirmed that the separation, citing spiritual reasons for the split.
However, he dismissed reports of Bushra Maneka's marriage with Khan.
The PTI chairman was seen wearing a ring given to him by Bushra Maneka.
The marriage between Imran Khan and Bushra Maneka reportedly took place on January 1 at the Defence Housing Authority, in the residence of Farah Jabeen, a close friend of the bride.
Khan has been married twice; both ended in divorce.
He first married Jemima on May 16, 1995, divorcing her her on June 22, 2004.
He has two sons, Sulman and Qasim, with Jemima who now live in London.
Imran married a second time with TV anchor Reham Khan, a union that hardly lasted for 10 months.
Imran formally announced this marriage on January 8, 2015.
Reham Khan then left for London, following which Imran divorced her.
According to Reham Khan, when she asked him that what kind of gift she should give him, he divorced her.
A number of scandals involving Imran Khan and other women have surfaced.
American Sita White exposed her secret relationship with Khan and revealed that they had an illegitimate daughter, Tyrian.
A Californian court had issued a verdict that Tyrian is his daughter.
Khan did not appear before that court and has rejected the court decision.
Astrology expert Samia Khan, who had broken the news of Imran's second marriage and divorce, confirmed his third marriage and added that this time around, the marriage would prove successful.
