Eurozone inflation seen to drop to 1.4 percent in December
(MENAFN) Eurostat's prediction found the inflation in eurozone to have dropped to 1.4% in December from 1.5% in November.
The inflation remains to uphold under the "below, but close to 2 percent" objective set by European Central Bank (ECB).
Energy price inflation declined to 3% from 4.7% in November, whereas food, alcohol and tobacco prices reached a 2.1% boost from 2.2% in the same month.
