South Korean SM6 sedan production exceed 100,000 units
(MENAFN) Renault Samsung Motors Corp announced that almost two years after its SM6 midsize sedan was launched into the market, its production for domestic sale has gone beyond 100,000 units.
Following the SM6 unveiling in South Korea March 2016 in 22 months, the high point has been accomplished for the South Korean unit of French carmaker Renault S.A.
The SM6 continuous hit is to be preserved through high quality control performed by Renault Samsung Motors executive vice president Lee Ki-in.
The company pointed out that the carmaker made a sale of a combined 276,808 units in 2017, a 7.6% increase from 257,345 units in 2016. Strong exports of the SM6 midsize sedan and the QM6 SUV are said to have pushed for the boost to occur.
