UAE: DHA allocate USD8m fund for disadvantaged patients


(MENAFN) Patients in Dubai who struggle with obtaining free and discounted treatment are to receive assistance from Dubai Health Authority (DHA) as it declared the allocation of AED30 million funds.

The DHA has introduced the Ataa' wa Saa'da (Giving and Happiness) project in partnership with the private sector.

The authority is eager to invest its partnership with the private health sector, as confirmed by the DHA chairman and director general Humaid Al Qutami.

The DHA is to join forces with six private health facilities as part of the initiative, the facilities have allocated AED30 million budget a year to make treatments available.
