Saudi Interior Minister in Kuwait for talks on boosting cooperation


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 6 (KUNA) -- Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef arrived in Kuwait on Saturday on a three-day visit during which he would hold talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah on security cooperation between the two countries.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that Prince Abdulaziz, accompanied by senior officers, would discuss with his Kuwaiti counterpart means of beefing up mutual cooperation between the two countries' security apparatuses to rise up to challenges and back regional security and stability.

Prince Abdulaziz was received at Kuwait International Airport by Minister Sheikh Khaled, Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah and Interior Undersecretary Mahmoud Al-Dosary.

Also present at the airport were the State of Kuwait Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Thamer Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Saudi Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Fayez, and senior officers. (end) ays.rk
