Kuwaiti cyclist finishes 2nd in UAE desert rally
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU DHABI, Jan 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti racer Abdullah Al-Shatti clinched second place on Saturday in the fifth and final round of the "Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge." The Kuwaiti athlete told KUNA that he was proud of his accomplishment in "a very stiff completion" that saw him go head to head with far more experienced cyclists.
He touted the two-day "Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge" as among the most prestigious in the region in terms of longevity.
