Two Syrian airlines to be established

(MENAFN) Syria will create two private airlines to avoid unilateral sanctions, according to local news media.

The companies will work inside and out of the Syrian territory, The Syrian Business magazine reported.

With the next creation of both airline companies, there will be four private entities that will operate with the national flag carrier, Syrian Arab Airlines.

The Syrian Airlines previously served over 50 destinations worldwide, but witnessed a decline since the beginning of the civil war.
