Saudi forces stop Houthi ballistic missile
(MENAFN) The Saudi Air Defense Forces has obstructed a ballistic missile on Friday morning fired from Houthis toward the southwestern Saudi Arabian city, Najran, Saudi media said.
Saudi authorities declared last month that they intercepted a ballistic missile fired towards the Saudi capital Riyadh's royal palace, while Houthis said it was fired aiming for Al Yamamah Royal Palace, the permanent residence of the Saudi King, Salman Bin Abdulaziz.
Yemen has been fighting Houthis since 2015, before Saudi Arabia launched the alliance carrying out attacks on the Yemen Houthi movement, which is backed by Iran.
