(MENAFN) Qatar is set to open a festival at a total of thirteen malls on Sunday in tribute to the country's successful retail sector as it undertakes Arabian-themed activities of promotion and entertainment.
The shopping festival is to initiate with spectacular fireworks close to Al Hazma Mall at 8:20pm with a theme titled 'Brand New Tradition' to return Shop Qatar for its second edition offering of 31 days of discounts and promotions along with activities that include concerts, workshops, masterclasses and pop up stores.
The festival will be held at 13 malls that include Gulf Mall, Mall of Qatar, Doha Festival City, City Centre Doha, Landmark Mall, Al Khor Mall, The Gate Mall, Dar Al Salam Mall, Hyatt Plaza Mall, Villaggio Mall, Ezdan Mall, Tawar Mall and Lagoona Mall.
Customers are ahead of major discounts and promotions as well as over QR4m cash and car prizes at a number of outlets in the malls. Moreover, a voucher for major prizes to be won is to be granted for each shopper who buys QR200 worth of purchases during the weekly raffle draws.
