Kuwait- His Highness Amir congratulates Sultan Qaboos on Gulf Cup title

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 5 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Friday sent a cable to Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman congratulating him on the Omani team's win of the 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup, "Gulf 23" title.

Kuwait hosted the tournament on December 22, 2017 - January 5, 2018.

His Highness the Amir praised the sports achievement of the Omani national football team, and the high performance of the two teams in the "Gulf 23" final game.

His Highness the Amir also highlighted the "high brotherly spirit" displayed by all teams in the fixture, as well as fair play and competition, embodying the close and strong ties among them.
