(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 5 (KUNA) -- A fence collapsed at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium following final match of the 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup tournament.

The barrier went down due to pressure caused by waves of moving fans.

Medics rushed to the scene but it was no immediately determined whether the accident caused injuries.

Anas Al-Saleh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and also Chairman of the championship organizing committee, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Roudhan also arrived at the location. (end) kns.rk
