(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Football Association (KFA) President Sheikh Ahmad Yusuf Al-Sabah on Friday commended Kuwait's successful hosting of Kuwait through the 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup tournament.
In a press statement, Sheikh Ahmad congratulated Oman's team on winning the Gulf 23 title for the second time in history. The Omani team beat their rivals of UAE in the final game held at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium late Friday.
He expressed his gratitude to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his support to make the championship a success.
