Saudi- Iran blocks Telegram for most residents due to demonstrations

Berlin, Rabi'II 13, 1439, Dec 31, 2017, SPA -- Telegram chief says Iran has blocked access to messaging service messaging service for most residents as demonstrations there against the government continue into their fourth day, said the company's chief executive, Pavel Durov.
According to DPA, Durov added that Iran's decision to block the service is in response to Telegram's refusal to shut down "peacefully protesting channels."
