9th Omani Honey Market concludes

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The ninth edition of the Omani Honey market concluded at the Muscat Grand Mall (MGM) on Sunday.

Thirty apiarists from different parts of the sultanate in addition to two companies specialising in supplying honey bees took part in the market.

It was organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF) to promote Omani products and provide platforms for interaction among honey producers and consumers.
The exhibition also included a corner for MoAF to raise awareness regarding breeding honey bees.

There were also stalls for apiarists to showcase their wide variety of products.
The ministry also seeks to subsidise SMEs operating in honey bee breeding and production by helping them market and finding outlets for their products.
