(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat - Russian authorities arrested on Saturday a man tied with Saint Petersburg's supermarket bombing, which resulted in the injury of 18 people, according to international media. The Federal Security Service (FBS) arrested the suspect. Eight people are still being under medical care due to the incident, reported The Associated Press. The arrested man, whose identity was not released by the police, claimed that he carried out and organized the attack on his own. After the incident, Islamic-State; commonly known as ISIS claimed responsibility for the bombing. However, a member of the security committee in Russia's parliament questioned the claim, stating that it might have been an attempt by ISIS to get publicity, reported British news outlet Daily Star.
