'Dilwalo ki Dilli', also known for its high crime rate, is making sure nothing goes wrong this new year.
December 31 sees an unusually high number of drunk driving and eve-teasing cases as well as brawls at various bars and pubs.
This time, police have intensified security with a three-layer arrangement likely to be implemented tonight.

Apart from increased police personnel deployment, there will be strong pickets across the city. All district personnel and senior cops will be on ground, along with additional reserved and paramilitary forces.
Focus would be on drunk driving and drunken brawls. Violators will be strongly prosecuted.
Delhi Police has partnered with Ola and Uber to provide citizens easily-accessible stations near popular pubs/bars for cabs.
Restriction on vehicular movement in CP

At Connaught Place, vehicular movement will be restricted along the Inner, Middle and Outer Circle. If you are heading towards there, you need to have prior booking at some club, or you will have to park at a far-off location and walk till your destination.
