Israel detains 11 Palestinians in W. Bank

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, Dec 31 (KUNA) -- The Israeli forces detained 11 Palestinians in the West Bank on Sunday, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said.

Two of them came from Nablus, Jenin and Bethlehem, and four from occupied Jerusalem, the club said in a statement.

One more was arrested in Ramallah after the Israeli military vehicles moved through the city, shooting in the air.

Thus, 669 Palestinians, among them 180 children and 14 women, have been detained by the Israelis since the US President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital on December 6.

The Israeli forces launch daily raids targeting Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, accelerating them during Palestinian protests against Israeli occupation policies. (end) nq.msa
