Dubai: Emirates Airline concludes the year with major success

(MENAFN) Dubai-based Emirate Airline is set to end 2017 with development and improvement as it reaches a major high point across its fleet, network, and product innovation initiatives, proving its status as a leading market and industry innovator.

The airline's accomplishments include receiving at least 59 million passengers since 2017 January as it served up to 63 million meals on its flights and transferred over 35 million luggages in Dubai to its 156 destinations.

Emirates Airline president Tim Clark stated "despite the ups and downs of 2017, Emirates delivered steady growth and we have come out stronger and even more resilient."

He continued "throughout the year, we challenged convention and acted nimbly to mitigate challenges and maximise opportunities. We implemented initiatives to boost revenues, trim costs, and used emerging technologies to make our business and operations more agile, without compromising on quality or service. We enter 2018 with optimism, and an unflagging drive to keep raising the bar in terms of customer experience and business performance."
