(MENAFN) On its Snapchat account, the Saudi Ground Services Co. (SGS) was feature in a video showing instructors at a training session to be encouraging women and guiding them into their new position as ground service technicians.
The airport worker Nawras Usamah confirmed "female uniforms have been distributed: A dark grey abaya with green lines, similar to that of male colleagues who wear the same color uniforms." However, their place of work and date of the employment at the airport is yet to be unveiled.
Saudi women are expected to face a sweeping transformation in the employment sector as they assume various positions when the new Jeddah airport is opened in 2018 May.
The airport employee explained "in the beginning, ladies will work at the counters and places at the airport that don't require challenging physical efforts."
