UAE: four cruise ships received by Dubai's Rashid Port simultaneously
(MENAFN) Marking its first triumph in this area, the cruise quay located at Dubai's Rashid Port has received four cruise ships all at once day on Friday. The cruise ships are said to be Aida Stilla, Main Chef 5, MSC Splendida and Coasta Mediterrania.
According to a statement, the port has been proved to be prepared to face the rising demand in the cruise tourism sector along with the emirate's plans to attract by 2020 one million cruise tourists.
The statement also declared the ships to have had onboard 21,411 tourists and 3,849 crew members.
Throughout the current season 2016 to 2017, the emirate of Dubai was confirmed to have received 157 cruise ships as the season began last October and will carry on until April.
