The Services Department of Al Shehaniya Municipality provided 6,000 flowering plants to Al Shehaniya Family Park and Dukhan Primary, Preparatory and Secondary School for girls and Kindergarten, last month.
The move is part of a massive plan of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment to increase the greenery across the country.
A total of 128 Sidr plants were planted at the entrance of Al Shehaniya Bridge. The Municipality also planted 51 Sidr and 16 palm trees at Labsir Bridge.
The services department received requests for pruning trees and inspection of external sites that were responded accordingly.
The Department also followed up the maintenance works carried out by the contracting companies for the building of Al Shehaniya Municipality. Under the supervision of the Department the necessary maintenance were carried at Al Jamiliya Public Parks.
In November, the Services Department at Shehaniya Municipality carried out several activities and made remarkable achievement in providing services and beautifying public parks.
The Unit of Public Parks at the Services Department of the Municipal during this period completed a number of beautification works in various public facilities under the municipality.
