Former Egyptian President Mursi sentenced to three years in jail
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo, Dec. 30 (Petra)--A Cairo criminal court sentenced ousted Egyptian President Mohammad Mursi and 17 others to three years in prison on Saturday.
The court also fined Mursi 1 million Egyptian pounds on charges of insulting the judiciary.
The defendants were accused of insulting the judiciary system, offending some judges and inciting hatred against them.
