Riyadh, Rabi'II 11, 1439, December 29, 2017, SPA -- Deputy Minister of Transport Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khallab received here yesterday Vice President of Tokyo Rob Industrial Company Kazunori Sato, in the presence of Deputy Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Setsu Ohmuri and other officials of the Japanese delegation.
During the meeting they reviewed the history of the partnership between the Ministry of Transport and Japanese companies in the implementation of several projects and the experiences of Tokyo Rob in the prevention of environmental disasters on the roads, in addition to presentation of the results of its experience in avoiding damage caused by rockfall on roads in the south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which included a field study on rockfall in 17 sites in the Asir region.
