Israeli forces shoot 7 Palestinians in W. Bank
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, Dec 29 (KUNA) -- Seven Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli forces in the West Bank on Friday, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
Three were shot at Al-Arroub Refugee Camp near Hebron, one seriously injured, the ministry added in a press release. Four others were wounded in Nablus.
Clashes erupted between the Israeli occupation forces and dozens of Palestinian youth who arrived at the Beit El checkpoint, at the northern entrance of Ramallah.
The Israelis shot live ammunition, tear gas and sound bombs at the Palestinians, four of whom almost suffocated.
Various parts of the West Bank have been the scene of clashes with the Israeli forces on the "Friday of Rage" called for by the Palestinian factions to reaffirm rejection of the US President Donald Trump's December 6 recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital. (end) nq.msa
