Kuwait- Parliament speaker offers condolences to Russian counterparts
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 29 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim on Friday sent cables of condolences to Russia's State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko over victims of the "terrorist" blast that hit a supermarket in St. Petersburg wounding a number of people.
Al-Ghanim reiterated full solidarity with the Russian people in the face of such acts of terrorism. He stressed the importance of consolidating regional and international cooperation to combat terrorism. (end) ns.msa
