UAE, Egyptian FMs discuss bilateral ties
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU-DHABI, Dec 28 (KUNA) -- UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan received his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shokri to exchange views on the latest developments in the Arab region and beyond, as well as several issues of mutual interest .
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah underlined the deeply-rooted relations between the two sisterly nations, WAM reported on Thursday .
He commended the high-level coordination between both countries regarding the challenges and dangers besetting the region, most notably terrorism.
On his part, Shokri, now on a visit to the UAE, highlighted the privileged bilateral relations under the leadership of both countries.
He stated desire to continue developing the relations in all domains, stressing the need to combine Arab efforts to counter foreign interferences in the affairs of Arab countries. (end) bs.gb
