Three musicals on Qatar's history, heritage from tomorrow

The Cultural Village Foundation- Katara in cooperation with the Memory and Heritage Foundation will present three musicals on Qatar's history and heritage starting tomorrow, 7.30pm at the Drama Theatre Building 16.

The six-day event will shine the spotlight on Qatari people's heritage, their victories and their authentic values.

The first operetta scheduled tomorrow and on Saturday night focuses on diving while the second titled 'The Qatari Story' on January 12 and January 13 is about the historical narratives portraying the evolution of life in Qatar through dialogue between grandparent and granddaughter.

The third show is slated on February 2 and 3 is titled 'The Story of Country and highlights the importance of social cohesion and solidarity between the Qataris since ancient times, whether in the family or the Farij or when in a journey to dive.

Through its various activities and events, Katara works to revive the Qatari heritage with all its features and details to showcase national identity to the young generations and its visitors from other cultures.
